Our Experience

At VSB Myanmar, we are dedicated to strengthening vocational skills, promoting lifelong learning, and supporting community development throughout Myanmar. Since our founding in 2021, we have been actively involved in improving the country’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system through carefully designed, high-quality programs tailored to meet the needs of individuals and organizations.

We collaborate closely with international organizations and NGOs to develop and implement capacity-building initiatives that empower educators, youth, and communities across various regions. Our training programs have reached over 200 TVET educators nationwide, covering essential topics such as curriculum development, teaching methods, classroom management, vocational qualification frameworks, and training evaluation. Our participants represent a balanced gender mix, with 51% women and 49% men, and come from diverse sectors including TVET institutions, private companies, and development projects.

In 2022, we launched the TVET Professional Learning Program, which continues to support educators and practitioners with professional development opportunities. We also co-edit the Myanmar TVET Development Journal, providing a platform for knowledge sharing among professionals. Our team regularly partners with INGOs to create curricula and learning resources across various vocational fields.

With support from GIZ, we have designed and delivered customized skills training programs for vulnerable youth living in internally displaced persons (IDP) camps, improving their employability and livelihood opportunities. VSB Myanmar also provides technical expertise to organizations like GIZ, NRC, and other INGOs to further strengthen vocational education and community development efforts.

Today, VSB Myanmar is recognized as a trusted and experienced leader in providing quality vocational skills training, lifelong learning programs, and community development services that contribute to sustainable impact across Myanmar.
